Adi Chaham week 22: Almost the End

 

Well, this is it. Our final blog post. 

Many have looked forward to this because now they don’t need to worry about writing a weekly blog while others enjoyed it as it gave them an opportunity to write about whatever they wanted. Either way, no more blog posts for the year. Whether it’s a yay or a nay from you, congratulations!

Now, what's next? So ya, we finished our blog posts, and to many it might seem like nothing but to me, this is big. We just finished our blog posts! This is something we have been working on for the past year. This means the school year is almost over. Yes, you already knew that but this makes it even more real. 

The school year ends one step at a time. First, no more blog posts. Then, we have spring break and we finish the curriculum and next thing you know we are taking the AP exams. And whether you're ready or not, it's happening and time is moving on. 

So many people have written blog posts about being scared for the future and so am I. We are growing up way too fast and things are speeding up too quickly. I’m gonna be honest with you when I say that I’m not looking forward to summer that much. Yes, I am looking forward to going on vacation, spending time with friends, going to the beach and having no school but I’m not super excited for what’s coming after: our Senior year of High school. Even though it’s scary, and stressful, I think it’s super important to remember to enjoy every moment instead of fearing for the future because then you won't enjoy the present. This year, I’ve learned how important it is to go out and have fun because there is no better time like the present. I’ve found it so great that instead of doing homework on the weekends, to take my weekends off and have fun because for the next few years all I’m gonna do is school. Remember that not knowing what you want to major in, is ok and not knowing what college you want to go to, is also ok and that B you have is ok because it’ll all fall into place at one point.

   When I hear the word gladiator, I Immediately think of the Colosseum and humans being eaten by lions. However, times have changed, and so has the term gladiator.   Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines. Little did I know, there would be many little bumps along the way that I had to deal with while trying to catch my flight.       First, we arrive at the airport at around 10:30 for our 11:45 flight. I personally believe that you should always give yourself enough time at the airport, so you don’t have to rush at the gate or if you want to make a purchase.
