Rosalie Weiss- Week 10- An Underrated Show That Everyone Should Watch

I was extremely bored over winter break and was looking for a show to watch. While scrolling through Disney+, I stumbled upon Amphibia, a cartoon about a girl who was magically transported to a land inhabited by anthropomorphic amphibians. I didn't expect much, but after watching the first episode, I was hooked, and immediately binged the first two seasons. With the crazy cliffhanger I was left on, I was eager to discuss my feelings on it, but after talking to everyone I knew, I learned that out of all my friends, only one of them had watched the show. While this number is very disappointing, I hope to make a change with this blog.

The show follows Anne Boonchoy, a 13-year-old girl who was just magically transported to the world of Amphibia. In the small town of Wartwood, Anne meets the Planters, a frog family who take her in and work to help bring her home. The show has big Gravity Falls/ Adventure Time/ The Owl House vibes, which is probably why I like it so much. If that isn't enough, another reason to watch the show is that Anne is voiced by Brenda Song, the actress who played London Tipton in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. This is off-topic, but I just found out that it is The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, not The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody. Very clever.

If you are still not convinced to watch the show, please do so anyways. I promise you will not regret it. Amphibia is offensively underrated and deserves so much better.

    I am not very into animated shows anymore. I used to love Gravity Falls, though, so if you say they give similar vibes I will have to check it out. I can't really think of any underrated shows because all the shows I watch are pretty popular and get good ratings.

    I think that you gave the show a pretty good explanation, and I'll watch the first episode and see how I like it. There are lots of shows like these that are so underrated, but I guess it's up to the way the shows are advertised and shown off. I never saw one commercial advertising this show so I would never know to watch it or that it even existed.

    I have not watched a show like this in so long, so I will definitely check it out since you say it is so good. I used to love Gravity Falls, as well, so I am very excited to watch this show.

    I have never seen that show, and I don't think I ever will, but one show that is underrated would definitely be the flash because it fell off, but it is still really good and fun to watch.

  Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines.
