Maya Garaway Week 19: The Dog Differences

 I am going to give a new version of the question of who is better cats or dogs. My question is what is the best dog breed?

    This week, starting on Tuesday, I am dog sitting my boyfriend’s dog, Sonic. This tiny Maltese poo is the live version of those wind up toys they sell at the mall that runs on batteries and just jump and bark “yip yip!” So far, Sonic has been here for two days and has managed to consistently miss his pee pad, keep my dogs away from him, and scared my parents coworker into the bathroom. Despite this, he has been really sweet to me and hasn't barked at me so he is not as bad as this paragraph makes him seem. There are some noticeable differences between Sonic and my pugs which include their social skills, intelligence, and personality.I have been thinking about the differences between Sonic, my pugs, and my previous dogs which were boxers. This leads me to my question of which dog breed is best. 

According to this website, labrador retrievers have consistently been ranked number one for a few years. They are known for their versatility and intelligence. Labrador retrievers are also considered one of the most intelligent dog breeds. The next highest ranking dog breeds are french bulldogs, golden retrievers, and german shepherds. Personally, I think boxers should be higher rated because of their goofy personality and intelligence.

  Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines. Little did I know, there would be many little bumps along the way that I had to deal with while trying to catch my flight.       First, we arrive at the airport at around 10:30 for our 11:45 flight.
