Michael Hakim Week 6 - Broken Letter "I" Key
I am so frustrated right now. I can’t deal with this anymore! The “I” key on my computer is stuck and has been jammed for the past month or so. It has gone on and off in severity; sometimes I am able to type fine, and other times, it doesn’t work at all! As I’m typing this, I’m having to spam the “I” key really hard every time I want to press it, and man, is it infuriating!
Sometimes I think to myself how much I’d rather another key be broken than this one. It is absolutely infuriating to type like this. Why did it have to be the “I” key? Why couldn’t it have been the “x” key or the “Q” key? Literally, the “I” key is one of my most used keys and it sucks having to struggle every time I want to type. I guess this just comes with having a 2017 Macbook!
I absolutely love and hate this Macbook. In terms of being a computer, I wouldn’t ever want another computer. However, the worst part of the computer is easily the keyboard, with this specific model (Macbook Pro 15” Late 2017) being known for having issues with the keys. Though Apple has now fixed this issue by completely redoing the keyboard on their newest laptops, it doesn’t help that this multi-thousand dollar machine has left me stuck with these issues. UGH! That last part was so infuriating to type!
I honestly can’t believe that I have ranted about a key on my keyboard for this long today, but I wouldn't wish this pain upon anyone. If you were in my position, I guarantee you that you would feel the same way!
What is an annoyance in your life? What do you do to fix it?
An annoyance in my life is if I can’t figure out a certain situation. For instance, the other day, I couldn’t figure out how to change the ice filter for my fridge. To solve this issue that I had been trying to figure out for 5 minutes, I called my brother since he literally knows how to do everything around the house. Due to my 5 second call with my brother, th problem was solved!
ReplyDeleteWow! I cant believe someone can write so much about their frustration with their keyboard. I had a similar issue although my frustration was from my Macbooks screen. I dropped my Mac on the floor from my bed and when I picked it up, part of the screen was blacked out. This was a good excuse to buy a new computer because of how slow it was.
ReplyDeleteI am someone who has no patience for situations like this one, so I understand your frustration. The WiFi in my house used to be really slow and it would drive me crazy. When these sorts of things happen, it just feels like I don't have the energy or time to deal with them on top of other stressful life events.
