Avital Horowitz - Week 6 - I love Grey's Anatomy

A few months ago I decided to try watching Grey’s Anatomy again. I first started watching the show freshmen year, but then I got distracted by other shows and never got around to finishing it. Back then, I was only on the fourth season, so not much had happened yet to be honest. Now I am on season nine and wow, it is crazy. I am not going to spoil anything, but I just have to say that if you decide to watch this show, I urge you to bring some tissues because the amount of tears I have shed because of Grey’s is definitely not healthy.

I do not think I will ever understand how the writers of this show continue to come up with such crazy episode ideas. The fact that there are currently 18 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy and there are still millions of fans all across the globe that are still in love with this series. To be fair though, I get it. The characters are flawless and the storyline is impeccable. It kind of sounds strange to say, but the writers of the show find a way to make it possible to form a connection between the audience and the characters. I feel like I have a connection with my favorite characters in Grey’s and it is the weirdest feeling because they are just characters from a TV show and they are not real.

I love watching Grey’s Anatomy. It gives me an easy escape from reality and allows me to relax and enjoy my free time. Have you ever watched Grey’s before? If so, did you like it? And if not, have you ever thought about watching it?

  1. I have not watched Grey's Anatomy, and I do not plan on it. The show seems overly dramatic and unrealistic. I do not understand how the writers have been able to keep the show running for so long, but they seem to be doing something right as they still get millions of viewers.
