Does outdoor running lead to a happier life?
Everyone says that outdoor runs make you much happier because it gives you time to think while giving you great exercise. This is true. I experimented by going on an outdoor run for a month straight and compared it to the previous month where I only worked out indoors.
Over the month that I went on outdoor runs almost daily, I was much more productive in school and at home. My runs range from 1-4 miles. I put on my favorite music, left behind my phone, and ran with my fitness watch that connected to my headphones. Doing this daily gave me time to think about what I need to work on to achieve the best version of myself. Additionally, it motivated me to eat healthily and do all my homework when I got home.
When I do not continuously go on outdoor runs, I do not give myself enough time to myself. I do not get to think about what I can do to achieve my goals better than the day before. This showed me that leaving half an hour to myself daily really makes a difference in my productivity in school and at home.
The benefits of daily outdoor runs are that it gives you time to think about what you can achieve for the rest of the day. It gives you time away from your phone which is needed for everyone. It improves your endurance which is needed for every sport. Additionally, it is a great workout and gives you the motivation to be healthy.
I inspire you to try this out and go on an outdoor run, even if it is only 10 minutes long.
