Week 2- Solomon Holzhauer- Lifting

Lifting is a lifestyle, it has been a thing since before I was born where people started around the ages of when I first started training. People started lifting weights for different reasons, to better their physique because they didn’t like how they looked to start. Either it would be they were too skinny or too fat, like me I didn’t like the way I looked. Nowadays, it hasn’t really changed in that perspective. Some people that my generation looks up to in the lifting fitness industry are people like David Laid, Chris Bumstead, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and  Aziz Shavershian, depending on the dream physique each person looked up to. These people would give us, and still give us the motivation and determination to push ourselves to the limit to get to our ideal physiques, and to be the best we can be, like Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, “If you want to turn a vision into reality, you have to give 100% and never stop believing in your dream.” I really relate to this quote by putting 100% into lifting because it is something I love and that I am very passionate about. Once you start lifting, you will never want to go back, especially after seeing results it's actually addicting. The good thing about this too, is because it is something healthy and really good for you, you are actually benefiting and better yourself the more you are consistent with it.

What is something you are passionate about? Do you put 100% into this?

  1. I am passionate about theater and always put in as much effort as I can both on and off stage. From what you have said, having a person to look up to really helps you improve and continue your journey.

  2. I can relate to this heavily. Though I am not quite as passionate about lifting as you, I don't know what I would do without the gym. It really is a place where you can let out your energy, and notice results. I try to put in 100% effort every time as well, and it has paid off, as I am seeing results.
