This Blog Post was made in a Rush

I wrote this blog post in a rush. Not in 30 minutes, or even 20 minutes. I actually wrote it in 10 minutes. I don’t know why, but today, I am simply in the mood of speeding through this blog. It is Tuesday as I am writing this, and I have two tests on Thursday along with a ton of work in all my other classes. Is it my fault that I just now remembered to do this blog? Yes. Am I going to do all I can to speed through the blog, though? Absolutely.

Something that I have noticed over time when it comes to tests and quizzes is that there is no point in stressing out. I used to let the announcement of a test ruin my day, and even the entire week on some occasions. If you think about it, there truly is no point in stressing about things that are guaranteed to happen. Obviously, it is human nature to stress out, but it definitely is possible to be more mindful when thinking about things you have to do.

Think about it. You are going to be taking that test no matter what. You can worry and stress out about the test all you want, but it doesn’t change the imminent fact that you are going to take the test, and you are going to get the score you are going to get. The most you can ask of yourself is to prepare enough and to try your hardest. Everything else is out of your control.

The same thing applies to work. I never stress about my workload at school anymore. Is this because I have just gotten used to the constant insane workload of high school? Partially. However, I have also noticed that no matter what, I am going to have to do the work at some point, so the best thing to do is to start early and to do the best you can do.

I know this blog post was all over the place, but that is because I only gave myself 10 minutes. Next week, I promise that my blog will be better.

How do you handle stress at school/work? Do you have any tips for your fellow readers?
