Solomon Holzhauer- week 3 - protein shake/smoothie recipes

I want to make this blog about protein shake/smoothie recipes. I will start out with explaining my recipe to ya'll. If you are trying to gain weight this is the amount of ingredient I would put in for this. It starts out with two bananas, three spoonfuls of peanut butter, two cups of milk, honey, ice cubes, and any protein powder if you want to add protein to your diet. If you are not trying to gain weight I would do one banana, a cup of milk, a little bit of honey, ice, one and a half spoonfuls of peanut butter, and the protein of course if wanted. That was for protein shakes, now for smoothies, one of my recipes is this bag of pre made frozen fruit from costco, milk, and some peanut butter. Another recipe I have is spinach, the serving size of the Pb fit, milk, and ice. It is always important to get your spinach in your diet because it has many health benefits besides being a vegetable.  For example, spinach has vitamins and minerals like vitamin E and magnesium that support your immune system. This system keeps you safe from viruses and bacteria that cause disease. It also defends your body from other things that can hurt you, like toxins. If you experiment with making up some new recipes let me know how they go and if I should try them.

What are some recipes that you make? Will you try one of my recipes?

  1. I love making smoothies and shakes; I make them all the time. I actually use a very similar recipe as you, except I do not typically use protein powder. I think that there are many benefits to drinking smoothies like you said which is why I like to drink them.
