Noah Bard - Week 4: I love Florida!

Florida is the best state in the United States. Thinking into the future, I really can’t see myself living anywhere else. From the beaches to the restaurants, all the way to the incredible sunsets, nothing beats Florida.
The beaches in Florida are unbeatable. The clear skies, sunny weather, white sand, and crystal clear waters give me a sense of euphoria when looking into the water. Everywhere else I have ever gone to in the world that has beaches cannot compare. Florida’s beaches are also endless - literally, the entire state is surrounded by them!
We Floridians are spoiled when it comes to food. We have some of the most culturally diverse restaurants down here, and they taste as good as they look. Though they are pricey sometimes, these restaurants are no joke. I love steakhouses, especially, and down here, there is no shortage of them.
Let’s talk about Florida’s sunsets. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how incredible they are? The colors in the sky are just incredible and are enough to brighten up the night in a crazy way. The pink colors are unique, and the fact that we can get these all year round is incredible.
Those are just the things on the outside. Florida also has no state income tax, incredible boating, a lot of Jews, and beautiful cities. Florida truly has it all, and I am so glad to live in a place that many people come to on vacation. I am never leaving this state!

  1. I have lived in California for a few years of my life and although it wasn't for a long time I still try my best not to associate myself with Florida. Personally, I don't like Florida. I do not love the weather. We do not get to experience any real seasonal changes like many other states. I wish that I would be able to see the leaves turn colors, experience a snowy morning, or just not 100 degrees in Summer.

    1. I understand where you are coming from as I also lived in California, but I think both states definitely have their pros and whenever someone asks me which I like better I answer by saying it's like comparing apples and oranges. Florida is completely different from California and they both have their own unique charm. But then at the same time when someone asks me where I live I answer with Florida but quickly say "BUT I USED TO LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO", so they don't make any quick judgements of me ... hahaha
