Liam Meldung - Week 13, My Love for Marvel

Warning! A few spoilers ahead, but I mean if you haven’t seen the movies yet then you’re probably never going to.

I love Marvel. I’ve seen pretty much every movie and tv series they came out with and plan on seeing everything they come up with in the future. The whole idea of a world with superheroes, alternate dimensions, villains, awesome battles, and more draws me in like you would not believe.

I used to see Marvel movies and get excited about them, but it was different than what it is now. It used to be that I would love seeing the crazy fight scenes and the powers that each superhero and villain had. Now, since Spiderman No Way Home, I began liking everything I saw so much more, and I get more and more excited. I decided that I want to become a movie director or producer because of these movies. It looks amazing, working with the actors, creating new worlds, new superheroes, and so much more. It has become so much more than just seeing the movies, I hope that one day I can be a part of this Marvel Universe and be a part in the process of creating and bringing to life the worlds that Stan Lee has come up with.

It isn’t just the action scenes and the powers anymore. Now, I like seeing the way the movies are filmed, the way that the storyline progresses, and the connections that the characters make in the movie. The stories are inspiring. Seeing Spiderman swing from place to place saving the world with MJ and Ned on his side, seeing half the human population disappear with a snap of Thanos’ fingers, and seeing the Marvel Universe grow and become a world phenomenon.

What do you guys love about Marvel? Have you seen every movie and tv series?

  1. Personally, I have never watched marvel, but I have always taken it into consideration. I just never found a love for these types of movies as I really enjoy watching rom-coms. It is really cool how marvel has influenced you and made you realize what you might want to do when you are older.
