Ariella Green Week 13: Sunday

                                                     Ariella Green Week 13: Sunday

What would I rather be doing right now than what I’m actually doing? That’s a great question Ariella.

Well, in a few minutes I will be going to Costco to fill up on gas to then drive all the way down to West Boca to babysit for the night. Do not get me wrong, I am glad I have a job and will be making money, but it is sometimes an inconvenience.

Today, Sunday January 30th, at 4:08 pm, I am feeling exhausted and lazy. I woke up early to go to Hebrew School, drove home, did a DBQ for history, and now this. I rarely have a day where there is absolutely nothing for me to do. I also find that the cold weather can affect your energy depending on whether you like the cold weather or not. I like the cold weather when I am bundled up and warm.

Instead of babysitting, I would much rather stay at home, drink some tea, either watching tv or reading a good book on my porch swing with a blanket. I would even like to cook some dinner, preferably French onion soup given the weather. Because of Covid, I have spent more time at home, and because the week is always crazy, I usually stay home on the weekends.

I find that Sunday is the day of the week that you savor each moment because you have work or school the next day. I do not feel the need to go out, but just enjoy the rest of the day before my week turns into chaos.

Question: How do you like to spend your Sunday?

  1. I definitely agree with what you are saying, however I work every Sunday because it is the only day where I can, since I am busy with school and other activities. But as every Sunday rolls around, I have the same conversation with myself of not wanting to go and only wanting to stay home.

  2. I typically only do homework on Sundays because I often procrastinate and push off all of my weekend homework. I always find that Sunday is a bittersweet day. On one hand, there is no school, I can sleep in, and I don't have anything I have to do. On the other hand, I know internally that the next day I will have to wake up early once again and start a new five day week of school.

  3. Sundays and weekends are usually more relaxing for me than the rest of the week. Almost every Sunday I sleep in really late, do some homework, and sometimes I will either hang out with a friend or volunteer at Boca Friendship House.

  4. Usually Sunday is the day that I sleep in. Sometimes I am awake really late on Saturday night, so I need to catch up on sleep. Throughout the day I usually relax, and do some work.

  5. Sunday is a pretty boring day for me as I spend most of it doing homework and cleaning. I do enjoy watching Euphoria, which gets released every Sunday at 9pm.
