Rosalie Weiss- Week 8- The Voice Live Shows Top 20 Opinions and Predictions

 The Voice': Watch Jershika Maple, Carson Peters, Bella DeNapoli and All of the Knockout Performances! | Entertainment Tonight

           Monday night marked the beginning of the live shows of the 21st season of The Voice, where we watched the top 20 contestants perform live, hoping to gain enough votes to remain in the competition. Tonight we will find out who will advance to the top 13, with eight contestants going home. While I genuinely enjoyed every performance, some stuck out to me more than others.

            One of these performances was by Jim and Sasha Allen, a father-son duo from team Ariana. They sang “Hey Jude” by The Beatles, which I think was a great song choice, as it highlighted their strengths well. Another performance I loved was by Shadale from team Legend. When Carson announced she would be singing Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain”, I knew It would be one of the best performances of the night, which it was. I am confident that she will go far in the competition and believe that she has a good chance at winning. 

I predict that the comeback artist returning to the competition will be Vaughn Mugol from team Ariana. I feel like he was eliminated from the competition too early, and I want to see him perform again. I predict that the eight people going home this week will be David Vogel, Hailey Mia, Jershika Maple, Katie Rae, Libianca, Peedy Chavis, Raquel Trinidad, and Vaughn Mogel if he is the comeback artist. They all sounded good but didn't meet the expectations I had for them after seeing their past performances.

    I love Jim and Sasha! I think I want them to win or another group, Girl Named Tom. These two groups are both amazing and I don't think a group has ever won so it would be interesting to see if one of them can pull it off. The voice is on again tonight, I am excited to see who makes it into the next round, but I hope it is Jim and Sasha or Girl Named Tom!

  Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines. Little did I know, there would be many little bumps along the way that I had to deal with while trying to catch my flight.       First, we arrive at the airport at around 10:30 for our 11:45 flight.
