Noah Bard - Week 8: Cold Weather!

    When it comes to the things that make me happy, there is nothing I can appreciate more than cold weather. Being from Florida, this is not something that I often get to experience (besides when I am at my house in Georgia). Recently, I have been in an especially good mood because after a long wait, It’s finally cold outside again! Well, at least for my standards, considering I am a full-blown Florida-man, having been born here and lived here my whole life. Anyway, let me tell you a bit about why I love the cold so much.
    First off, the cold makes being outside so much easier. Now that I am playing soccer for the high school, being outside in the chilly air gives me so much more stamina and makes it so much easier to continuously run around. Something about feeling the cold air against my skin while playing soccer, my favorite sport, feels so good and further intensifies my enjoyment of the sport.
    Another reason I love the cold is that it gives me the excuse to wear hoodies more. As you may have noticed by now, I like wearing long-sleeves a lot, as to me, they are very comfortable. Now, my long-sleeve clothes actually have a purpose! Because it is colder outside now, I am now able to wear long-sleeved clothes more often, which makes me happy.
    Lastly, I love the cold because it reminds me that winter break is coming up! Well, I know it’s only November, but still, it reminds me that I’m just that much closer to going to having a relaxing break. Every year when it starts getting colder outside, life just seems to slow down a bit. Everything feels so peaceful, and I look forward to it every year. Now that this time is finally here, I will be sure to take full advantage of it!

    I love the cold weather, especially because here in Florida it isn't really cold. Winter in Florida is perfect for outdoor sports and events, and I love playing outdoor basketball. The only downside is how cold it's going to be in school, but I'll just have to bring a hoodie with me everyday.

    I agree, I love when it is cold, especially because I can wear long sleeves without getting too hot.

    I honestly don't have a favorite season. I know this sounds cheesy, but I really think that they each have certain things that make them special in their own way. However, there really is something about winter that hits different.

    I agree completely. I hate Florida's weather most of the time. My favorite time of year is this period of a few weeks when it's not so darn.

    My favorite season is defiantly winter. The cold air is so nice and it immediately boosts my mood.

   When I hear the word gladiator, I Immediately think of the Colosseum and humans being eaten by lions. However, times have changed, and so has the term gladiator.   Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines. Little did I know, there would be many little bumps along the way that I had to deal with while trying to catch my flight.       First, we arrive at the airport at around 10:30 for our 11:45 flight.
