Lindsey Maschler Week 8: Pretty Rocks
Crystals are something that you either believe in or do not, there is not really an in-between. Recently, they have become more and more popular, with more people learning about them.
I have been into crystals for over a year, starting when the pandemic first hit and everyone was staying home. I got bored one day and decided I wanted to teach myself something new and pick up a new hobby, so I did just that. I talked to my friend at the time who was also super into crystals, and she basically taught me everything I needed to know to get started. I started to be familiar with what kind of crystal did what, and how I can make them do it. To activate your crystals, you need to introduce your intentions for it, by holding them in your hand or just keeping it with you, and saying what your intentions are. This might sound cliche, but I have found that the more you believe in it the more that it will work.
There are crystals for just about anything, whether it is for luck or for happiness. Not only are they useful, but they are also super pretty. Each crystal is different, with a different overall shape, color, and pattern on it. Some of the most common crystals include Amethyst, which is purple and promotes calmness and serenity, Rose Quartz, which is good for manifesting love and relationships, Selenite, which is clear and good for self-care and cleansing your aura, and Lapis Lazuli, which helps you come up with new ideas. Do you believe in crystals?
I think crystals are really cool! I have a few at home and one of my favorites is my rose quartz necklace. I love looking through all the different colors and shapes of crystals. Each one is so beautiful and unique.
ReplyDeleteI think crystals are so pretty and cool but, I never knew that you could activate them and atet they have meanings. I don't believe in crystals but, I think it's cool to learn about them!
ReplyDeleteI did a project all about the gemstones on the choshen mishpat, the breastplate of the cohenim in the torah. I talked about all their powers which are talked about in various stories throughout the Tanakh, and was fascinated by it. Just this summer when I went to California I bought myself a couple raw rocks which I keep on my windowsill and I sometimes charge with insense my mom's friend gave me.
