Thanksgiving break!!!

Thanksgiving is coming up this week, and I could not be happier. I love Thanksgiving for many reasons but mainly because I get to enjoy my break from school in the best weather. Thanksgiving is always at the time of a year where there is a cold front. Even though we live in Florida and rarely get chilly weather, on Thanksgiving it is somehow always chilly. I usually finish all of the homework that I have to complete for the vacation on Wednesday, so that way I can enjoy my vacation without worrying about homework. When Thursday comes, I get so excited because it is Turkey day. Although I do not like turkey, it is still my favorite holiday. I start my family dinner at my cousins’ house at 3 pm. The earliest dinners I will ever have. We start off with appetizers and do not get to the main meal until 6 pm. My favorite dishes served at Thanksgiving dinner are the sweet potatoes with marshmallows and the cranberry dip. Depending on what time we finish dinner, we go to target to get our early black friday shopping in. Friday, my favorite day of the year comes! Black Friday! As someone who likes to shop all the time, Friday is the day I can shop with a valid excuse. There are the best deals of the year at every store on Black Friday. You can find almost everything you want on sale. I like to buy a lot on this day, enough that I would not find shopping enjoyable anymore. Anyways, Thanksgiving break is my favorite time of the year.    When I hear the word gladiator, I Immediately think of the Colosseum and humans being eaten by lions. However, times have changed, and so has the term gladiator.   Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines. Little did I know, there would be many little bumps along the way that I had to deal with while trying to catch my flight.       First, we arrive at the airport at around 10:30 for our 11:45 flight. I personally believe that you should always give yourself enough time at the airport, so you don’t have to rush at the gate or if you want to make a purchase.
