Atara Berkower - Week 9 - Craving a cookie?

Craving a cookie?

Almost every store sells cookies, although you would be surprised by which ones are the best. I have tried crumble cookies, whole foods cookies, Publix cookies, Carvel cookies, Insomnia, Starbucks, Midnight cookies, Mrs. Fields, and more. To start off, Insomnia cookies are by far the best cookies made because of its rich flavor and chocolate. Although it is only in New York, it is worth the three hour plane ride to buy it. Whenever I go to New York I go to Insomnia at least once. Next, Crumble cookies are everything you can imagine in a good quality cookie. The classic chocolate chip cookie is rich and addicting. Whole foods cookies are good, although they are not warm. I like to buy them and warm them up to get the best results. Publix cookies are good for its price, although they are definitely not top notch. They are good enough to crave, although they do not beat any of the cookies mentioned before. Carvel cookies are extremely good, especially when you get ice cream with it. The cookie is warm, and when eaten with ice cream, it is heavenly. Starbucks cookies are really good, although I do not buy it so often because Starbucks has better pastry options like the chocolate croissant. Midnight cookies are perfectly rich, warm, and so convenient because they are always open. They have many different flavors to choose from, making it convenient for your cravings. Lastly, Mrs Fields cookies are one of my favorites. The cookies are small which makes them better. They are warm, and since they are located at the mall, I like to eat them after a long day of shopping. I hope this information helped you when craving a cookie on where to go. What are your thoughts about these places to buy cookies?

  1. My favorite cookies are chocolate chip cookies from the sourdough bakery in San Francisco, Boudin. They are the perfect combo of chewy, sweet, crunchy, and salty.
