Ariella Green Week 10: Waiting
Don’t ya hate waiting?
As much as I try to be patient, it still takes a lot of practice. I tend to have more patience when it comes to certain things like when I’m babysitting. I absolutely hate waiting on people whether I’m waiting on a response to an email, or when I’m behind that one person on line that just takes forever to order because they don’t know what they want.
I’m the type of person that likes to finish something as fast as I can, and in one sitting. (Hence why I write my blog posts so fast if you haven’t noticed)
A little backstory, a few Sundays ago, I hired a substitute teacher. I paid the substitute, but when I looked in my account, I wasn’t given the money to hire her. I’m currently waiting to see if they paid her my salary for the day because now I’m out my salary and the money I paid her. To add to that, I’m also waiting on the results for the math test that I took on Wednesday. I know it hasn’t been that long, but I can’t help but wonder how I did.
As I’m staring at my phone writing this blog, I just realized that life is a waiting game. All of us are waiting to see what will happen next because it seems more exciting than what’s happening now. If that’s the case, I wonder if I should change my approach. Instead of waiting for something to happen because I want to get it over with, I’m watching to see how everything unfolds.
However, this realization still doesn’t change the fact that I hate waiting. I suppose with age I’ll be less inclined to get things over with, and more content with the phase of life that I’m in now.
Question: Would you consider yourself a patient person?

I find my myself to be very patient when I'm not very involved with something, or have no interest. Although if I'm passionate about something that needs to get done, I have absolutely no patience.
