Adam Sobel Week 9 - What is the Best Type of Candy?

     With so many flavors and types to choose from, which candy is truly the best? Honestly, there are so many different types of candies that it would be impossible to choose just one. Because of that, I will choose the best candy in each of these sections: sour candies, chocolate candies, and gummies.

    One of my favorite types of candies is sour candies. Specifically, my favorite type of sour candy is Sour Patch Watermelon. It is my favorite snack to eat during movies because the sour taste keeps me on-edge and excited as I watch the movie, but the sweet taste afterwards makes me want more of them. To those who don't like a sour taste, that's okay. It's not for everyone to like, but, if you haven't tried them yet, I highly suggest Sour Patch Watermelon.

    I couldn't choose one best type of chocolate, so I'll give a 50/50 split on my two favorites: Buncha Crunch and Twix bars. Buncha Crunch have the sweet chocolatey taste that everyone loves, plus they have the added crunch texture that makes it snap and crackle in your mouth. It feels and tastes like chocolatey pop-rocks. Twix bars are also my favorite chocolate because they combine the three simplest and best sugary treats: chocolate, caramel, and then a crunchy bar at the bottom. The ratio of caramel to chocolate is perfect, and eating it with a Dr. Pepper is my personal favorite snack in the world. I used to eat it with my camp friends every night that we had candy canteen because we all loved the combination so much. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you do.

    Lastly, my favorite gummies are Haribo Cola gummies. They have the sweet Cola taste that everyone loves but in a gummy format. It's a great combination that just makes you want to eat more until the whole bag is gone. In general, I just love gummies because they always have a sweet taste and I like the chewy sensation that it provides.

    My favorite candy is undoubtably Sour Patch kids. There's nothing I like more than opening up a fresh bag of Sour Patch kids and finishing them within minutes. I love anything gummy-related. I also love Twix, Sweetarts, and anything similar to that.

  Ariella Green Week 7: The Airport      Don’t ya hate going to the airport?       I absolutely can not stand going to the airport. As I’m sure most of you know, I am very organized and like to plan out everything. When things don’t go according to the plan, it stresses me out.       Thursday morning, I assumed I would have an easy experience flying from PBI to JFK on JetBlue airlines.
