Ariella Green Week 5: Where should I eat?

Ariella Green Week 5: Where should I eat?

Don’t ya hate when you don’t know where you want to go somewhere to eat?

I find that this is a very common occurrence because there is either so many places to go and eat, or there’s not enough places. As I have viewed food posts on Instagram, I have noticed that most of the restaurants are faraway, whether that is in Miami, New York, California, etc. Sometimes, it is hard to distinguish what you want, and you have to consider what the other people want because they will be dining with you.

There are some deciding factors that you have to be mindful of when you decide to eat outside of the house, and they are subject to change on the person or the occasion. Some factors to consider are the location, budget, dietary/nutrition, how much time you have to eat, and the type of cuisine you are craving.

The other day, after taking the PSAT, Jack and I wanted to grab some lunch for our handwork and effort. However, we did not know where to go because a) we wanted something affordable, b) we wanted to go somewhere local, c) we did not want to eat any meat/chicken, and d) we want to Cannoli Kitchen within the last 2 weeks. Also, Jack and I are the type of people that would go somewhere that the other person wants to go because we both want the other to get what they want. We thought about Chic-Fil-A, but that option was to rushed. We thought about Rotelli, but Jack’s family despises the location of 441 and Palmetto. After spending close to 8-10 minutes trying to decide where to go, we settled on Blaze Pizza because it was easy, affordable, and you can dine outside at Blaze.

Question: How do you decide where you want to eat? Do you find it difficult to choose?

  2. Where I live in Parkland, there are absolutely no places to eat. You can only find fast food places like McDonald's, Wendy's, or Subway. There's only one restaurant to eat in that is less than 10 minutes from my house, Pasquale's Pizzeria, and it's mediocre. It is hard finding a good place to eat that isn't far from home.

  3. I totally get what you mean by having a hard time choosing where to get food from. A tip I have is I usually look on google maps or look through past memories I have in my phone to decide where I should get food from. If we didn't live in Boca, and lived in New York City, it probably would be easier since there are so many options to choose from in walking distance.

  4. I go through the same struggle as you, looking for places to eat. There are so many options right next to school like Just Salad, Raw Juce, and Sobel. I often go to Aroma to purchase sushi to take home. I narrow down the options by deciding if I want salad, acai bowl, or sushi. You should try any of these eateries out for a new place to eat at.
